Hi!

My name is Laurie, my friends call me Laur.

Welcome to "Homegrown Everything", a beautiful mentorship and partnership between those who have "been there, those whom are striving and those whom haven't yet begun."
A mentorship with a purpose: information that you can delve your hands into to get a head start! 

I am a farmer, a wife to Chad, a mother of four, a homesteader, a homeschooler, an animal harvester, a cook, an old soul, a Jill of many trades expert of a few but learning as I go, just as we all are as humans.

My husband Chad and I, started our ranch from the "soil up" 9 years ago, and want to guide you on your journey of breaking ground as YOU navigate into your homesteading journey.

We were born and raised on cattle operations and dove deep into raising bison, pork and chickens when we were 22 + 23 years old! We are very transparent in the way we raise our animals and children and share the good and the bad.  

We want to be a sounding board for all of the questions pertaining to raising small and large livestock, harvesting livestock, a homestead kitchen, running a farmstore, attending farmers markets, raising kiddos on the ranch (or farm), hosting events and marketing your provisions. 

Regardless of how your path has led you here, we look forward to giving you honest advice on your journey. All advice is good advice until there is no money in the bank and animals that still need to be fed. 

We raise: Bison, pork, chickens, egg layers, horses, turkeys, goats, geese, ducks and have our own homegrown dairy cattle. We cook from scratch, utilize all of the years bounty,  do many on farm harvests, eat nose to tail and just try to navigate the best we can with what we have. 

My number one advice: "Start small, but just start somewhere."
