On the BWB we believe that children don’t require much in order to be happy.  Neither Chad nor I were raised in overly wealthy families but that doesn’t mean we weren’t privileged. We were given the world in so many ways by our humble parents and we plan on raising our kids with similar values.

I read a quote the other day that resonated with me more than I care to admit… I think it’s because we are currently raising our family in the world of perfect Instagram feeds and keeping up with the Joneses… but this is how this quote read:

“Some people are so poor, all they have is money.”

I repeat:

“Some people are so poor, all they have is money.”

I, in the moment upon reading those words realized just how blessed I really am.

It really hit home to me last night as our little girl made a tent underneath the blanket I was covering myself with and proceeded to giggle away. A few minutes later her Daddy turned our two living room chairs, threw a blanket overtop, chucked some sheep pelts on the floor and crawled right into his masterpiece alongside our little girl.

Stay humble my friends for moments like these are what life is really about.
