This week has been strange & unusual to say the least.
Just when Alberta thought summer was on its way…we got dumped with snow.
Restlessness & impatience seem to sink into the soul.
The animals feel it too.
This Saturday morning I’m seizing the day by lying in bed, sipping a hot cup of joe, singing along to the Brady Wilson Band, when a little fashion fiesta idea came to mind. I thought i’d give ya’ll a little hint as to where I go for inspiration when I’m feeling restless & uncreative. This is hard information for me to pass on as I want to be the biggest fan, the most ecstatic groupie & be the first to get all of the juicy new deetz.
I’m also the same way with New Music… DOUBLE GASP*
I know, I know… So here goes.
The following are some of the most creative, inspiring blogs/ladies I follow. I find that all of these ladies really raise the bar on style standards & effortlessly tie the gypsy, western, vintage, boho, worlds all together.
DISCLAIMER: They are not in any specific order as I love them all for different reasons 🙂
First and foremost I would like to introduce you to:
The Turquoise Teepee.
Describing themselves as “John Wayne & Audrey Hepburn’s creative love child. Elegance on the dusty desert trail. The Turquoise Teepee is an original western fashion blog.”
Written by 3 equally talented women.
It is a must read if your looking for inspiration on fashion, furniture re-dos and travel tips.
Next on the list is: Western Homestead
Written by Jordan Finney.

Jordans instagram is one that I check on the daily. Being ranch born & raised she is a girl after my own heart.
